As promised, this week's blog will be about our trip to Missouri, more specifically Branson, Springfield and Ozark.
Before I write about the experience, I just want to say that Missouri this time of year is absolutely beautiful. We made several stops alongside the highway, just for the chance to snap some breathtaking photos of the Ozark Mountains and the fall colors! Loved the turning leaves with their yellows, reds, and oranges!
Now, on to my events. We need to give a great big shout out to the Christian County Library and the Springfield LIbrary for their hospitality and wonderful facilities. We had a great time, met some really nice folks, and hopefully introduced them to a great story about Jorja and Regina!
Last but not least, I had a chance to experience Silver Dollar City and their many attractions. Love the local artisans, craftsmen and women, and employees - they really do know how to treat visitors. I have to say, though, my favorite was their rollercoasters! If you have a chance to visit the theme park, make sure you ride the Outlaw Run! Spectacular fun, at a really, really, fast pace!
November is all about preparing for Christmas, and my next blog post will have the latest information about '76 Bridges Christmas display - where you can find the book and the special surprise we have for those looking to buy a book as a gift!
Till then, have a great week - and happy reading!
